Neglected Comments

I've noticed that lately I've been neglecting my favorite part about blogging...leaving comments. I don't know about you, but now that I've been using Bloglines to help me keep up-to-speed with all my friend's blogs, I don't leave as many comments. And that's what I miss, that personal reply to what's moved me on your page.

So, once again while technology has made me able to do more things faster, I'm not sure my life is that much improved.

That's probably why I still like handwriting in my journal. It makes me feel like I'm leaving more than just my words, I'm leaving my pen strokes, my smuges, my tears, my misspellings and imperfections. It's more of me than a typed page.

Baseboards

Our nearly one year tiling and baseboards project is almost complete. Thanks to Dad Childs who has helped us tile and made all the baseboard corners as well as cut and nailed them all into place. My repsonsibility has been to touch-up paint and Greg's been caulking. I'm so thrilled with the results.
